DAY 31
Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
THOUGHT
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart": This means placing our complete confidence and reliance on God. It's about acknowledging that God's wisdom and guidance are far superior to our own, and we should trust in His plan, even when we don't fully understand it.
"Lean not on your own understanding": This reminds us that our human understanding is limited and often flawed. Sometimes, we make decisions based on our own wisdom and knowledge, but the passage encourages us to lean on God's wisdom instead of relying solely on our own.
"In all your ways, submit to Him": This verse encourages us to involve God in every aspect of our lives. It's a reminder that we should seek His guidance and submit our plans and decisions to Him. Whether it's in our relationships, work, or personal choices, we should invite God to be a part of it.
"And He will make your paths straight": When we trust God wholeheartedly and seek His guidance in all areas of our lives, He promises to make our paths straight. This doesn't mean life will be free of challenges, but it means that God will guide us in the right direction and help us navigate life's twists and turns.
His verse encourages us to trust God entirely rather than relying on our understanding.
ACTION
Acknowledge God in all our ways, trusting that he will guide and direct us on the right path.
Seek God's will and trust His wisdom and guidance.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, allow us to always trust in You and rely on Your understanding, not our own. May we always acknowledge you in all our ways and trust you to guide us in Jesus' name, Amen.
