Stanley D. Arnold
Marriage & Family Therapist
Stan and his wife are empty-nesters, but live in Lakeland to enjoy moments with their seven grand children! He has been in the ministry of caring for over forty years, both as a civilian pastor and as a US Army Chaplain, and now as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He retired in 2014 from Active military service. Part of his journey has included living in many different places including Pennsylvania, New York, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Europe and Asia. He even had a paid vacation in Iraq in 2003! (The Army made him wear some funny looking clothes for that trip.) Most recently he spent three months in Okinawa, Japan serving as the Interim Pastor during a missionary's furlough back in the States.
Stan loves remodeling homes. He and his wife have bought and remodeled each home they have lived in over the years. Their current home is still in the process of being totally remodeled. He can make or fix just about everything connected to houses. And he loves landscaping with his wife.
Stan specializes in trauma recovery, walking with people through the most difficult moments in life. Whether the trauma is accidental or relational, he is trained to apply the best clinical treatments to help people gain a firm standing. He helps couples rewrite their relationship dance in a way that helps them feel safer and more secure than they ever have before. He loves helping veterans with the leftovers of their combat experiences.
