Often, I’ll listen to worship music, read my inspirational books and daily devos, pray about the problems in my life, and, throughout all of that, I forget to truly connect with the One who made me. The One who planned me thought of every single part of my personality, of all the promises He would make and KEEP to me, of every time He would wrap me in His arms, telling me once more He has me. He thought of every little detail. He designed me. Just the way He wanted, no mistakes. He knew me. In my mother’s womb, when I hadn’t met a single person yet, there was One who knew every single detail about me. Two thousand years ago, when He was pierced on that cross, bleeding to the point of being unrecognizable, He knew and saw me. He acted in such Love for me to say that I’m worthy, not because of anything I would say or do, but because He made me. He knew me. He said I was worthy.

And so, to say all of that, God sets us apart. Yes, that means stepping out in faith and loving those around you. Pray! Invite! Do your good things! But remember, in all of it, connect with the One who knew and knows you. Get to know the One who formed you even more.
