Reports To: Lead Worship Pastor
Serves With: Worship Staff, Creative Team (Production, Worship, Content Team)
Status: Full-Time
POSITION SUMMARY
The Campus Worship Leader is an essential role within our Worship Ministry. This position is designed to lead, develop, and disciple worship team members under the direction of the Global Worship Pastor while providing oversight and growth opportunities for the Youth Worship Team.

The Campus Worship Leader serves as a bridge between the Youth Worship Ministry and the broader Worship Ministry by leading youth worship experiences, camps, and special events while actively serving alongside the Sunday Worship Team during Sunday morning experiences. Through consistent leadership across both environments, this role cultivates unity, intentionally develops youth worship team members, and helps create a seamless pathway for growth within the Worship Ministry.

Under the direction of the Lead Worship Pastor, the Campus Worship Leader also assists with administrative responsibilities, including Sunday, Youth, and Celebrate Recovery (CR) worship scheduling and team rotations. This role helps ensure that the vision, culture, spiritual health, and ministry standards of the Worship Ministry are consistently communicated, modeled, and upheld across every worship environment.
This role also works creatively in songwriting, worship recordings, and engaging in Spirit-led experiences that inspire authentic worship and help lead people into a genuine encounter with Jesus.

Administrative Excellence & Communication Expectations:

This role does not begin and end on the platform. Its primary responsibility is to provide consistent weekly oversight and leadership that ensures worship events, services, and experiences are executed with excellence under the direction of the Lead Worship Pastor.
This includes maintaining weekly assignments, managing administrative responsibilities such as contractor check requests, scheduling and team rotations, budget management skills, credit card receipt tracking, and timely submission of credit card reports. This role also effectively manages Planning Center workflows, completes and responds to Basecamp tasks and communications in a timely manner, and demonstrates attentiveness, ownership, and responsiveness through consistent communication with staff, leadership, and volunteer teams.
This role is expected to communicate with staff, leadership, and volunteer teams with clarity, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset. It’s important that this role is proactive and responsive rather than reactive in all areas of ministry communication and collaboration.

Clarify, Communicate, and Make Decisions Around The Vision: The vision of our church is the reference for every decision, and what we communicate flows from it
-
Cultivate Community: Rally people together and create community in a multitude of scenarios. We value healthy community and actively contribute to it
-
Be Ministry-Minded: Every moment is an opportunity to point something or someone to Jesus. Ministry isn’t something we do, it’s who we are
-
Make It Better: We don’t turn a blind eye to our gaps. We go out of our way to improve and contribute to God’s work in our church
-
Owners: Ownership isn't about defending the outcome; it's about improving the future. Owners acknowledge what happened without taking it personally, identify what they can own, and proactively create a better path forward.
-
Honest and Humble: Honest and humble feedback is essential to building a healthy, thriving community. We value one another enough to have courageous conversations that strengthen, encourage, and develop each other. Rather than avoiding difficult conversations, we embrace timely, grace-filled feedback that calls one another up, not out. Our goal is never to criticize or condemn, but to cultivate growth, accountability, and Christlike character. We believe feedback is an expression of honor. It communicates that we see potential in one another and are committed to helping each other become all God has called us to be. As a team, we give and receive feedback with humility, love, and a teachable spirit, recognizing that healthy correction builds trust, deepens relationships, and strengthens our ministry for the glory of God.
