Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things GOD works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
THOUGHT
Have you ever felt like nothing is going your way? You can't get anything right. No matter what you say or do, life just seems like it's not working in your favor. It causes us to question who we are and our purpose.
But we always have a purpose. God loves us unconditionally. Romans 8:28 is a constant reminder that God is always looking out for us and helping us. You are called to God's purpose 24/7- to serve Him faithfully and bring All Glory to His name. Sometimes, our desires are simply not the plan or direction God has for us. When you feel like nothing is going your way, remind yourself that you are being called to God's purpose for your life, not your purpose. If you simply seek God and His purpose, do you think you would have that empty, not-good-enough feeling? Remind yourself that God works for your good and for His glory.
ACTION
1. When you feel like nothing is going right or you are unhappy with the way your life is going, stop and ask yourself: am I living for my purpose or God's purpose?
2. Don't question God, ask God questions. Talk to Him.
PRAYER
Jesus, we thank you for your love and attention to detail. Help us bring all glory to your perfect name through our daily actions. Please keep my heart focused on your perfect plan, not my plan. Jesus, we love you, trust you, and thank you. In your beautiful name, we pray, Amen!!
