We seek to reshape the perception of the Church's relevance by becoming the first place people look to for identity, community, and help. We will be a church that is "obsessed with the one", focused on reaching those who are doubting, done with religion, and disengaged from faith; a church that feels such urgency to share the good news of Jesus and help others claim their divine purpose that our comfort no longer factors into the equation.

SCOPE OF WORK

We are seeking an exceptional Child Care Center Director who will champion transformative early childhood education through strategic leadership and visionary programming. The ideal candidate will:

  • Cultivate a holistic developmental ecosystem that integrates academic rigor with socio-emotional learning, ensuring each child's comprehensive growth and potential

  • Demonstrate advanced leadership capabilities, inspiring staff through professional mentorship, innovative pedagogical approaches, and a commitment to continuous educational excellence

  • Serve as the organizational ambassador, seamlessly bridging administrative excellence with compassionate community engagement, and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for families and children

  • Possess a sophisticated understanding of early childhood development principles, state licensing regulations, and contemporary educational best practices

  • Drive organizational culture through strategic operational management, balancing pedagogical vision with financial acumen and administrative efficiency

  • Align with our faith-based mission and vision by fostering a warm, welcoming community that naturally connects families to the church through Sunday services

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an early childhood or educational leadership role, with a proven track record in overseeing high-quality, rigorous academic programs. 

  • Strong business management skills, including experience managing budgets and driving organizational growth. 

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. 

  • Alignment with our church’s mission, vision, and values and a strong desire to integrate families into our faith community. 

KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Leadership & Vision 

  • Oversee school operations, driving instructional quality, academic rigor, and whole-child development. 

  • Inspire, lead, and manage a diverse, large staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment that highly prioritizes both educational outcomes and customer service. 

  • Serve as a role model for staff in embodying the church’s mission vision, values, and commitment to excellence. 

2. Academic Excellence 

  • Promote a curriculum that is both academically challenging and developmentally appropriate, ensuring a holistic approach that addresses the cognitive, emotional, and social needs of each child. 

  • Work closely with teaching staff to implement instructional best practices and provide ongoing professional development and performance feedback. 

3. Family & Community Engagement

  • Be a welcoming, visible presence for families, promoting a strong sense of community and trust between families, the school, and Church for the ONE. 

  • Effectively communicate with parents about their child’s progress, fostering partnerships to support each child’s growth and development. 

  • Actively encourage family engagement in Sunday church services and events as part of our community outreach. 

4. Operational Management

  • Ensure efficient and effective daily operations, including staff management, resource allocation, and adherence to health and safety standards. 

  • Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer for budgeting, financial planning, and resource management to achieve both educational and business objectives. 

  • Maintain compliance with local and state licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and other regulatory obligations. 

5. Customer Service & Quality Assurance: 

  • Develop and implement quality assurance measures to continuously improve customer satisfaction and educational outcomes. 

  • Handle parent inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly, promoting a culture of responsiveness and respect. 

  • Lead marketing and enrollment efforts to attract and retain families aligned with the school’s mission and church community.
