PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

Location: Church For The One – Highland Park Campus

Reports To: Production Director

Serves With: Creative Team (Production, Worship, Content Team)

Status: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY

  • The Production Coordinator supports the Production Director in executing high-quality technical production for weekly and weekend services, online broadcasts and special events at Church For The ONE.

  • This role helps ensure audio, video, lighting, and livestream systems operate smoothly while assisting in the development and care of volunteer production teams.

  • The Production Coordinator plays a key role in creating excellent worship environments both in-person and online by supporting the preparation, operation, and maintenance of production systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Service & Event Production

​

  • Assist in executing technical production for weekend services,rehearsals, and church events.

  • Help operate audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems duringservices as needed.

  • Support the livestream production process to ensure a high-quality onlineexperience.

  • Assist with service setup, soundcheck, rehearsals, and post-serviceteardown.

Volunteer Team Support

  • Help recruit, train, and support volunteer production teams.

  • Disciple and invest in volunteers.

  • Assist in developing volunteers in areas such as audio, video, lighting,and ProPresenter.

  • Provide on-the-floor support during services to ensure volunteers areconfident and equipped.

Production Systems and Equipment​

​

  • Assist in maintaining and organizing production equipment.

  • Help manage batteries, cables, microphones, and technical inventory.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues during rehearsals and services when theyarise.

  • Ensure all production systems are prepared and functional beforeservices.

Media Services and Preparation

​

  • Prepare service elements in ProPresenter, including lyrics, slides, andvideos.

  • Assist in organizing service plans within Planning Center.

  • Coordinate media assets and technical elements required for weekendservices.

Administrative Support

​

  • Assist with scheduling volunteers in Planning Center.

  • Help maintain documentation for production systems and workflows.

  • Help organize and keep track of equipment lifecycle documentation.

  • Support production planning meetings and preparation tasks.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Church or Live Production Experience

​

  • 1–3 years of experience in church production, live events, or technical

  • media.

  • Basic knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems.

Team and Volunteer Support

​

  • Comfortable working alongside volunteer teams.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Volunteer leader empowerment

REQUIRED SYSTEMS KNOWLEDGE

Candidates should have working knowledge of:

Audio

​

  • Front of house and broadcast mixing

  • Operation of digital audio consoles

  • Wireless microphones and stage setup

  • Basic signal flow

Video

​

  • Camera operation

  • Basic switching concepts

  • Premiere Pro

Graphics

​

  • ProPresenter

  • Photoshop

Lighting

​

  • DMX lighting operation

  • DMX style lighting routing

  • Service programming
