JESUS
IS MY HOPE
CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE MADE THE BEST DECISION!
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO FOLLOW JESUS?
We are here to walk with you as you begin your journey with Jesus!

THE PROBLEM: We have all sinned, which creates a gap between us and God.
"For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard." — Romans 3:23

THE GIFT: God loved us so much He sent His son, Jesus, to bridge that gap for us.
"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." — John 3:16
THE RESULT: By trusting in Jesus, you are a completely new person.

"This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!" — 2 Corinthians 5:17
WHAT'S NEXT?
-
GET BAPTIZED

Baptism is an external celebration of an inward decision that one makes to follow Jesus.
Baptism shows others that you have been made new. It represents your old, sinful life being washed clean because of your faith in Jesus.
"For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives." —Romans 6:4

START READING YOUR BIBLE

The Bible is how God speaks to us. It’s not just an old book of rules; it’s a living story that shows us how much God loves us and how He wants us to live. If you aren't sure where to begin, don't worry, most people feel that way!
"Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path." — Psalm 119:105
How to Start:
1. Don't start at the beginning: The Bible is a library of 66 books. We recommend starting with the Gospel of John. It’s the story of Jesus’ life told by one of His closest friends.
2. Keep it simple: You don’t need to read for hours. Just 5–10 minutes a day can change your entire perspective.
3. Use our plan: We’ve created a simple guide to help you navigate your first few weeks of reading.
