North Lakeland Semi Permanent Space - $216,000

  1. Why: A semi-permanent space would remove the burden of set-up/tear-down from our team every week and enable them to be people and ministry focused while also creating a sense of stability of our presence in North Lakeland. To an outsider rental space can communicate a partial commitment.

  2. What: The cost is an estimated 3-year lease cost for space in North Lakeland that would enable to the campus to grow to up to 800 people in 3 services.

  3. If We Don't: Most of our leadership effort is spent on navigating obstacles with the school in terms of scheduling and keeping the team energized for a 6am Sunday morning call time with an 8 hour shift on Sundays. Instead of building people and developing disciples we become more focused on space issues and motivation issues.

Highland Park Kids Space Cosmetic Upgrades - $167,000 

  1. Why: Kids ministry is a focus of Church for the One, our space does not in any way reflect the value we place upon the next generation.

  2. What: Carpet & Paint for the Factory (Elementary), lobby upgrades & slight renovations, Sensory Room for special needs kids, new signage.

  3. If We Don't: Our ministry space will be a barrier to new families that we are called to reach. We can turn this space into an attraction point.

Campus #3, Colorado - $347,000 

  1. Why: There are people who need Jesus, and a strong local Church, in other areas. There are people who strongly desire to partner with us to make this happen. We have the opportunity to lead and reshape the movement in this capacity.

  2. What: Sends Planters to Colorado, funds everything up to launch in a 50% partnership with the Colorado district.

  3. If We Don't: We'll continue to send leaders to other assignments, but we won't be able to deploy them at maximum capacity. Districts will fund other distractions instead of our primary mission.

Sanctuary Upgrades - $125,000

  1.  Why: Our sanctuary is the heart of our church, serving as the primary space for prayer, worship, teaching, and community. The current state of the sanctuary does not fully reflect the vibrant spirit and forward-thinking posture of our congregation in all seats. Targeted updates are needed to ensure our sanctuary remains an inviting, functional, and technologically-capable space that enhances the worship experience for the ONE in person, online and at campuses.

  2. What:

  • Stage Updates: Replace the stage front with a fresh design to create a more visually appealing focal point that will help both our worship team and lead pastor connect better with all sides of the room. Completely replace the worn stage flooring to maintain safety, integrity and a clean modern look.

  • Cosmetic Enhancements: Apply fresh paint in parts of the sanctuary that are worn. Update any signage to create a more welcoming atmosphere. Implement other minor renovations to breathe new life into the space.

  • Audio System Overhaul: Replace the outdated front fill speakers and subwoofers. Fine-tune the line array to improve sound quality and coverage.

  • Acoustic Treatments: Implement strategic acoustic treatments to optimize the sanctuary's acoustics. Enhance the clarity of spoken word and the richness of worship music.

3. If we don't: Our sanctuary will feel dated and uninviting, hindering our ability to create an immersive and impactful worship experience for our congregation, those online and campuses. Without these updates, we risk the sanctuary becoming a barrier and not a passageway to reaching new families, growing our church community and fulfilling our vision.
